Tonight I started taking pictures of all my kimono stuff.
So far I finished my short sleeved kimono. Finally I can update my closet with all the stuff I didn't have had a picture of. Still, there is the rest of stuff in my "tansu" waiting for a little photo session...
Gotta go to work (^.^)

Obi-dome Design: Kingfisher
It was kinda boring this weekend, so I tried myself in design. Maybe this would be a cute obi-dome or a brooch, let's see if I have time to make something out of it.

Sewing Kimono: 2nd Attempt
This summer I sewed a synthetic ro komon. Well, my grandmother did the sewing job and I told her how to do it (^.^). She's still showing me how to do it myself, but it's so difficult.
Here's the finished kimono. The collar needs to be corrected though, I misjudged how wide it has to be. Now it a bit too wide for a simple collar, not meant to be folded in half... Not visable, when folded in a bit like here.

My Kimono Moved
Since my parents are renovating, my old room got moved upstairs. And with it my kimono-collection. Now, the room is smaller, but my tansu grew much bigger.
I'm using my new room more as a guest, I moved out a while ago, so the in-build cabinetries are reserved for my kimono only. They do not have to be divided in various wardrobes and shelves again (^.^)
Here is the collection before and after moving:
